It has an airy and crunchy texture similar to rice crispies and is also known as crisped, puffed, or popped quinoa. Use quinoa crisps in trail mixes, cereals/granola, energy bars, a substitute for couscous in cold salads, or as a topping for yogurt. Crisped quinoa is a good source of carbohydrates, protein, and iron and is gluten-free.
